The Simply Divine B&B started life in 1906 as the home of Hannibal Godwin who served in the US House of Representatives from 1906 to 1921. The home changed hands several times through the years.

The rooms have 12-foot ceilings, fireplaces and rich, hand-cut oak around doorways and windows. One of the most impressive areas is the large front hall with its wood paneling. The home – like many of its era – includes a library with handsome shelves all the way to the ceiling.

Your hosts are Carmen and Rob Forrester. After many years in engineering, Carmen has changed careers to be an    ‘Inn-gineer’. She finds the B&B world a perfect outlet for her dynamic creativity, energy and enthusiasm. The personal touches throughout reflect her sense of style and grace.

Her husband, Rob, is a Senior Financial Analyst with Sunrise Senior Living. He assists Carmen with marketing, accounting and maintaining her good spirit.

The home is also available for private parties, conferences, weddings, birthdays and any other occasion.
